Franklin Arms short barreled firearm with rifle buttstock but no ATF paperwork?

If somebody made a non-NFA "firearm" that looked like a pistol-caliber short-barreled carbine, with a shoulder stock, using non-twist straight grooves in the barrel, and chambered in in .45 ACP, I'd be interested. Even if those big bullets tumbled and accuracy was only minute-of-bad-guy within 20 yards, I think it would make a good home defense firearm if it had something like a 10" barrel and huge "ghost ring" sights.

With braces like the SBA3, what’s the point? Until “they” go after pistol braces, you aren’t gaining anything.

I think they Will go after pistol braces especially if you were unapologetic and public in the fact that you are using yours as a shoulder stock not a brace for your forearm.
I want a real stock for my shoulder, with an appropriate length of pull from butt plate to trigger.
