I orders a scope and ammo on 12/21...got the ammo in 10 days but no scope nor any communication on when and if to expect it

They do have a presence in GA which also requires them to collect tax. What or where it is is their business and unless they want to make it public knowledge nobody else's. Regardless, you are still faulting then for complying with the law passed by your elected officials.
It costs PSA money to collect GA sales tax. They would much rather not do so.
There are many options on the Internet to pay more for faster shipping and better customer service.
They can't compete with PSA prices but if price isn't a concern you have a world of options.
Reminds me of that line in the Charlie Daniels song.
And I don't even have a garage you can call home and ask my wife!

Always thought I'd know I was in trouble, if I had to have my wife vouch for me with my friends...
eh not really a steal but not bad if someone was looking for both but I get the feeling those folks are fairly limited in number. The sales tax isn't the biggest issue as can be how they ship certain items separately and it can cause the charges to increase dramatically. top this off with sales tax and transfers and then they are just averagely priced.
I've got one. It's overrated.
