GA DL (or state issued ID) AND GWL

I usually have a copy of my ID, SSN, and GWL ready to go to fax to the sailor so he gets my docs up front before we meet. Oh and a blank 4473 just in case.

The way I see this is that NOT EVERYONE who visits these ads, and wants to do a deal, may not be the honest, upstanding individuals we love to trade with or sell to. I'm NOT making a deal with someone I do not personally know without any assurance other than his talk, smile, or money, that He could get a weapon at a gun shop. Why should I have it on my conscience if the unthinkable happened that my gun was later used in a crime? Just pass my ads by if you don't have a GA carry permit or GA drivers license. I'm going to also be sure that I'm NOT being set up to sell over the state line.

I offered to do that as a buyer,because at that time I didn’t have WP,the sailor wanted to see a DL and valid permit but didn’t want to go through a FFL.hmmmm

As I have replied in the past just because you have a valid weapons permit doesn’t mean your not a criminal with bad intent
