I sold my 308 vepr for 700.00-must have been half the gun

After the IraqiVet 8888 /Moss Pawn guys melted down a WASR in FA mode in short order they got a Vepr converted for the same test. They wound up with some smoldering hand guards but the VEPR did way better in the torture test.
But damn! $1400.00!? Looks like I'll never own one.

I've never shot a .308 AK but for the price per round I don't think I'd have much range time to shoot it either...

Yes! They do dress up nicely. Optics are expensive too...the cheaper ones don't hold up to the recoil
