I know a guy with a 16 in vepr in 54R with extra mags, he wants to sell for 1200.

Yeah, it would be so cool if they could develop a 20-rd mag for the ones in '54R!

SGM has been talking about one for years now. Never seen it though.

The 54r casing is rimmed (think 357 or 44 magnum cartridge) so is a challenge to build a mag that would reliably stack these 54r rounds to offset-stack (think AR, AK, Glock mags) therefore most 54r mags come single-stacked, making a 20-rounder a bit long in the tooth

So how does Kel-Tec make a 30-rd .22mag magazine? Rimmed cartridge.

I wish someone could just upscale the idea, just not holding out a lot of hope.
