Have y’all been to Five Guys Inflation and Fries

Fast food burger award goes to Checkers. Love their fries, too.

Double cheese burger meal, at checkers, the Big Buford combo, was nearly $10.00. Not up sized. If I had ordered the medium sized meal, it would had been more than $10.00 bucks easily. A large would be more than $11.00 bucks.

I'm just reporting for the shock value, and how inflation has tanked value priced fast food meals. McDonald's 2 for $3.00 dollars, value meal is now 2 for $3.39. No matter who gets elected, we are in for a rough time financially for quite some while.

I remembered this thread after going and why I don't go their much at all!!

I’ve stopped ordering any drink except water with meals. Most are now $3.00 and up.
Some have even begun charging for water.

Most restaurants in the Macongo with a certain type of clientele have started charging 50¢ to $1.00 for a "water cup" or they'll sell you a bottle of water for $2.50. I've nearly stopped eating out. Haven't ordered tea or soft drink in years. Water and martinis for me, now I'll just drink martinis.

I haven't been to 5 guys in well over 3 years! We usually get burgers from Moxie Burger!
