Help me select a first (only?) supressor

The mystic x sounds like a nice can but at $739 for the can plus $155 for a booster and $95 for a fixed 1/2-28 mount...that's about $1250 with tax and stamp. A bit to fat for my budget...I guess a can will just be more than I have to play with, so it seems I'll just have to keep my earplugs in and spend the money on ammo.
