66’ Canary Yellow GTO, 389 w 3-2’s in front of a Muncie M22 Rock Crusher being pushed by 4.88’s. Loved that car
In my sophomore year I was driving a '63 Plymouth Valiant with a 225 slant 6 and push button transmission and a sliding parking brake which disengaged the tranny. In my senior year I was driving a '68 Dodge Coroner 440 with a 383 magnum engine. It had all the ads one for towing and police cruiser. Battery heat shield, 9 blade fan, oil cooler, tranny cooler, beefed up suspension. Yellow outside, black and chrome on the inside. Loved that car.
74' plymouth duster, primer grey, 318, and some dry rotted street slicks from the 60's on the back. That car was 10 years older than me, a rusted out piece of **** but I loved her like no other.
Wrong... 65 and 66 were both at 3500lbs give or take 50lbs. The led sleds started in about 68 iirc. 65 was a beautiful style and 66 & 67 were the last of the older wide bodies. Love them all though.

I had a '65 GTO with 389. It was a big car but it ran like a scalded dog.
