Yep. Then we can open a thread about how there is never anything listed anymore on ODT.

It would be a conundrum all the way around, sounds good on paper but there would be issues. Say someone has an item which is worth the money buts very expensive, which very few can afford ! Would this person have to pay to relist just because he has a high dollar item?

Pay to play ODT would weed out many more than just the craigslisters.

And some of the folks just getting by on there paycheck !

You would need to run that by the self imposed ODT traffic committee and see if it meets their posting/product standards.

A paid ad section that charged 10-20 bucks per ad or repost would be nice. Would never look at those perma-ads again.

It would weed out the "just checking the waters" and craigs listers. Motivated sellers with reasonable prices would be what would be in the paid listing areas, and ODT would be better funded.

No need to charge for an ad. If after x number of reposts there was no longer a one-click repost option, and the user had to manually recreate the ad, many might finally give up.
