I quit my teaching job.

If you are talking about the teaching "system", you are 100% correct. My wife quit teaching and she hates that she quit, but she was no longer allowed to teach they way she had and spent more time with paperwork and being the only one held to any expectations. The kids and parents were worthless.
If you're talking bout the ODT "system", well, yeah.

I knew an older gentleman who was a carpenter and cabinet builder in the 60s, a general contractor in the 70s, and in the 80s he became a professor or teacher at an Atlanta area trade school teaching the building trades. (I don't know the schools real name, but it was in the darkest part of Atlanta and its critics called it Congo Tech).

In the dozen years he Taught there he saw the quality of the students decline:
their average level of intelligence,
their motivation,
their work ethic,
their ability to read and write and understand simple written instructions about how to operate a certain tool or checklist for shop safety.

And the school administrators didn't seem at all concerned about it --as long as people enrolled and the school got money that's all that mattered.
