While shopping around for my new truck to replace my old POS ford with the 5.4 I found the new Ram heavy duty to be the best value in a gas truck (in my opinion)
you’re able to just get the options you need and it works out to getting a great truck at a lower price.
6.4L with 8 speed ZF transmission (not a Chrysler product) floor shift 4x4. Only options are rear LSD, cab clearance lights, tow hooks, carpet and cloth, and the upgraded radio/screen. Window sticker 47,505 actual price 39,100.

To each their own... I don't like driving a big V8 4x4 pickup truck that sounds like I am mixing a frozen margarita when I stomp on the gas... LOL
LOL. It does sound good! But I tow my rock crawler around the southeast and I like peace and quiet from my tow rig.
Most I am ever towing is a couple of ATV's or a pair of sportbikes, and so not much weight, you barely even notice that its there...
