I'am in N. Texas & we have to have correct adresses on CCL no excuses it is the law...just change the adress is $10.00 last time I looked . it's always in CCL guide lines & rules of State issued .

I moved from DeKalb back to Forsyth,I will get a new one next year when the old one expires,never had a problem with the different addresses.

You need the correct adress on CCL & driver lisence . If a DPS or police go on close look you can loose your CDL for a time .

While this maybe correct in Texas, It is not in GA. The carry permit is state wide and doesn't have to be changed like a DL.

They don't have to You renew in the county of your residence. Your current license is good until it expires.

No. They don't care as long as the license is current. As far as the gun store is concerned, it's the government's problem.

Permit and fingerprints are in the same building now. Takes less than 4 weeks to get your permit.

Nope. My addresses were diff on my ccw and driver license for 3 years. Tons of transfers and a couple dealings with the Popo and no issues

You're lucky. Had two guys I knew got flagged from buying at Academy because permit and license address did not match. Which I told them if they had known, they should have never even used the permit.
