LED bulb replacement. WTF is going on??

Some of the older SUVs, Cherokees if I recall correctly, have a filler cap in the rear hatch right next to the taillight for the rear window washer fluid. We have convinced a few new guys that it is where the blinker fluid goes.

You need to spend at least $2,500 to get them to work properly....

Replacing the flasher is as easy as changing a fuse. You just pull out the old one and plug in the new one.

Adding a resistor is the "proper" way to do it, but requires splicing the wire to each light and hard wiring the resistor. This would have to be done on all 4 corners.
... and is a royal pain in the keester for sure. Plus, those resistors run at well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit and will melt any wires that are touching them. Go with changing the flasher. Much easier and MUCH safer.

In order to change to led on any light that blinks it must have either a resistor installed inline(one on each bulb circuit) or in most cases you can replace the flasher with an led module. Leds draw so little current that your vehicle thinks the bulbs is blown.

^^^^^THIS IS EXACTLY CORRECT^^^^^
