Legality of converting AR pistol to a rifle

So I’ve got a factory AR pistol I purchased a couple years ago I want to go another route with. I know if I build a pistol I can convert it, but how does that work with a factory gun? One that was purchased new as a fully manufactured pistol and not DIY?

This has nothing to do with the arm brace stuff going on lol I just plan on ignoring that, but anyway.

you can make a factory pistol lower into a rifle no problem. And go back and firth

But you can not legally make a factory rifle lower into a pistol lower. If it’s sold as a rifle lower first, it’s always a rifle lower.
