I always responded to even to stupid lowball offers always with a NO,

You never know what you may get in return, I have gotten better offers from them or I have gotten I can buy it new from xxx... that always gets the reply go get it there!

Another favorite negotiation tactic I get all the time.

Trader- “You’re far from here so I’ll give you less as I have to drive”
Me- “Not sure how that’s my problem, it says where I am in the ad. When I want something I get in the car and drive”.

Beyond me why anyone would believe that a response is owed to them. No response is a no. It's that that difficult. And I bet the OP has called the left "snowflakes"...

i have responded to listings offering to buy at their asking price but still got no reply , so i never offer any stupid lowball offers
