Mosin Threading problems

why not just get a PSL?

Partly just the outlandish style of a bent bolt mosin with a scope and threaded barrel.

The other part because I don't have a PSL

Lastly, money.

Oh ****! Just occurred to me that I can make an Obrez now. Who wants a Mosin pistol? Not sure if it would be a SBR or an AOW. Need to research that.
8" Mosin with a huge can. Like Star Wars style.

I am down for a Obrez.

If you start with a blank receiver than it will just be a pistol with no stamp needed. They used to be available, not sure now

Hey Lax, have you cut the barrel yet?
9 times outta 10 the bores are off center and will never be silencer friendly.
Just had mine cut and was impossible to thread.

Haven't cut anything on it yet. Even if the bore is off centered it can still be threaded concentric to the bore assuming the barrel has enough OD
