Dang DD, this brought me to tears brother. The conversations you & I have had over the years about our similar lives, we're both a couple of the luckiest Dads on the planet. And your Son is lucky to have you as his Dad too, what an awesome tribute and gift from Father to Son.

Damn DD this one really hit me hard.
My deceased Father (a Korean War U.S. Marine) left me his series 70 Colt 1911. I will cherish it forever.
I miss him terribly and always will. He was an amazing man and roll model. It's been over 11yrs since his departure and I still think of him everyday.
