For the love of all that is good, get fitted and make sure that your shoes are matched to your pronation and foot size. I recommend Big Peach Running Company. I am fan of Asics or Brooks. I ran for 20 years and am done now.

Honestly, I recommend you don't run. A brisk walk or hike for an hour is way healthier for you.

I prefer Brooks shoes or UnderArmors with plush padding . Heard lots of good reviews of Hoka but never used them personally.
