Need Advice! What would you do with your 1500$! Gun purchase!

AR's are easy to come by. Like Glocks, most everyone has em'.

If I'm spending $1500.00 on something I really want, it would be the DW.
I still have a DW 1911, one of the earlier ones, and it's a great pistol.

I have no idea why used AR's bring close to what they do now?
I know why used DW's hold their value.

I don't shoot enough to justify spending $1500.00 on any one pistol or rifle now, but if you
do, you won't regret the Dan Wesson.

You could get a springfield loaded ,and dpms oracle ,and still have money left. That is if you get them at the store .Those 2 are 30 % higher on here used for some reason.

Good point,But personal preference
Someone's gonna have a stroke for me saying this... but buy a good AR (Colt, Ruger) for about a grand and buy a Taurus PT1911. A lot of folks poo-poo Taurus, but their 1911's have all the goodies on them from the factory for not much more coin than a Plain-Jane Rock Island or something like that

+1
My experience is that if I don't just go ahead and spend the money up front on what I REALLY want then I end up spending more money in the end and eventually get what I REALLY wanted anyway. My advice based on your postings, get the DW. It's what you really want. Buy it and enjoy shooting the hell out of it. Thats what it's for anyway.
