Need Advice! What would you do with your 1500$! Gun purchase!

I second the Taurus PT 1911. Great gun. Right now they have them at Adventure Outdoors for $449. Take cash and a boat load of patience....

That will leave you money left over for AR and ammo. If you don't like the Taurus you can sell it for close to what you paid and chalk it up to experience. But I don't think it will come to that. This gun is loaded with custom features from the factory. Very well made. IMHO, one of the best values out there.

Either way, congrats on the bonus and have fun with the purchase!

You mentioned carry weapon, so maybe $700 in silver a new G19 and holster...then buy your lady friend something...much better than a decorative paperweight for your safe...
