I don't have a 9" barrel yet as AAC is out of stock. Anyone currently running a 300BLK with a 9" barrel and standard collapsible that can give me the overall length? I was originally planning to run the 8" CMMG barrel but hearing some bad reviews with baffle strikes due to bad threading at the muzzle....sucks since they're only 169.00  but not worth the risk to a can I'll be waiting 4+ months to get.

Should be 28"

I have a 10" barrel on a AR pistol that looks like it would measure out at 28 1/2 without the flash hider and stock fully extended. How precise does this have to be? I would imagine it could vary somewhat between who's measuring and what brand of tape measure is being used.

Just use 28". Doesn't have to be precise.

AR-15 SBR Overall Lengths

From Colt’s website:

10.5" barrel = 29.00” Extended (28.9”)

11.5" barrel = 30.00” Extended

14.5" barrel = 33.00" Extended

16.0" barrel = 34.60” & 35.00” <----??? (not sure why the Gov't model differs, probably just an error)

Standard difference between stock collapsed and extended was +3.25”

I then brilliantly extrapolated the following:

5.00" barrel = 23.50” Extended

7.00" barrel = 25.50” Extended

9.25" barrel = 27.75” Extended"
