I just recently lost my mechanic.......Awesome guy, worked for himself, honest, knowledgeable, fair........he moved to Texas to be closer to his wife's family. I live in the Snellville......I am looking for a good mechanic, preferably someone who works for him or herself. I have a 2008 Hummer H3. I need a radiator replaced, oil change..(synthetic) basic transmission service, and I just popped an engine light this past week, and have not had the diagnostics read yet.......I know there is someone out here that can take care of a hard working retired old man........

Thanks!!

First thing. Get a code scanner
There are several brands available at any auto parts store for under $100 that plug in under the dash and Bluetooth to your smartphone and will usually tell you exactly what's the problem

If it's something simple like an O2 sensor , most mechanics charge $400-750 for replacing it , and it's a $12 tool and a $75 part and easy as changing a light bulb ,
