New to hunting and a little confused, can someone give me some advice?

The wife and I are new to hunting also and decided we'd start slow with squirrel hunting AFTER deer season ends. Planning on going to Johns Mtn a coulple of times in January and as much as possible in February. Should be good fun cold but fun !!

I find that squirrels move alot more on sunny fair days in the winter than the bleak cold as a well diggers &%$# days.
