NRA had a 22 percent downturn in revenue from membership dues in 2017

Haven't been a member in years. They call and beg too much. I do like some of the fresher faces currently (Colion, Dana), but the older "leadership" needs to change. In years past (50s, 60s, 70s) it changed frequently. Lately it seems like Congress -(McShame, Kennedy).

The other thing is that in the past few years they have done some squirrely things that appear to do more harm than good. Kinda had me scratching my head a few times.

Like, wtf is this and what does it have to do with 2A:

That really needs to be explained to you?
There are two main political parties/ideologies in this country. One is outspokenly anti 2A and continuously lies about every fact surrounding guns in this country. The other is supposedly pro 2A and is apparently less scared of an armed electorate. Look at the stances of Georgia's main 2 gubernatorial candidates on the 2A to discern.
Now, which one are you voting for?

I let my membership expire last winter. I was getting notifications to renew right around the same time the NRA made public they support a bump Stock ban and the NFA. **** them.

Well ... messages like these is why the MSM calls the NRA a terrorist organization. It is why their member revenue is going down.

The 2A should not be a right or left issue. The NRA should be focusing on 2A rights and educating lawmakers from both political parties, not fear mongering for the Republican party.

You know which one he is voting for. His socialist utopia is finally within reach.

You're right. It SHOULD not be a left or right issue, yet it obviously is. The Democrats, the pretend champion of civil rights, do everything in their power to degrade and circumvent the very rights they pretend to cherish. And the Republicans, the ones vilified 24/7 by the left and the media (but I redundant myself) are the ones, that by comparison at least, are the defenders of civil rights. So once again, I'm going to ask, who are you voting for?

I will still support the NRA. I recently sent the ILA a fat check. Without the NRA none of us would have an AR, a handgun, maybe not a gun to hunt with at all. I don`t like everything they have done. Neither have I liked everything ANY elected official I voted for has done. I STILL VOTE. I don`t like all the phone calls, either. However, I don`t answer ANY call that ain`t on my list. If it`s important they will leave a message . I`m not addicted to a cell phone and I don`t have to answer it every call. You clowns that won`t spend $35 for a years membership in NRA will drink $35 worth of beer in a heartbeat. Or eat one steak that costs the same. You young dudes will very likely see the day all guns are outlawed. I will spend my money hoping to put that day off as long as possible.
