How does the trust work, is it faster than receiving the tax stamp and what are some other perks. I'm wanting a suppressor just want to know. And do you still have to pay the $200?
You have to pay the 200.00 no matter what but with a trust you can efile and wait time is about four months
Plus you forego the fingerprint and CLEO signature requirements which can save a pretty big hassle for some folks.
No faster, unfortunately. The main perk right now is that you do not have to go through the extra steps of having to get fingerprints done and having to have your county's chief LEO approve your application. It also makes it easy to pass it down to others after you pass away and makes it so that others can use your NFA items without fear of violating the NFA.
And you do still have to pay the $200 - the Govt. always gets theirs!!!
