I was offered this in trade on the ODT years ago, I had always wanted a broomhandle so I jumped on it even though I knew little to nothing about them and this one had seen some better days. Turns out its possibly the earliest surviving Model 30 #416 It is transitional in that it has stepped grips. Some of the literature on these claim that all the transnationals (known at the time) were in serial ranges just under 800k so they are technically not Model 30's this one definitely is.

I snagged a SW 631 snub, in .32 H&R magnum, not marked Lady Smith.. I read somewhere, that was rare
