Oh great oracles of ODT, Sell me on EXPS3 vs Romeo 8T...

NV is fine on both. I'm skeptical of anything SIG, but it's made in America. Similar prices, except no sales tax on the Romeo. Brings the price down. No magnification, will be on a Mk18. I've used older eotechs, but the warranty issues I hear about delamination and then only offering half price on a replacement sounds insane when spending $800 on something.

If anyone has used both just let me know which way the wind blows.

I have both. I still prefer an eotech as they are proven. Haven't had any issues out of the 8t, but have far, far, far fewer rounds on it.

Still, aimpoint for the win

I'm not a fan of Sig farmed out optics, the Romeo included. I'd go Eotech based on a lot of years of use with the XPS3-0 and the old 512.

They’re about the same to me passive aiming with nv. Battery life on the exps3 I had sucked. I use an aimpoint duty now. If I was in the market I’d give the 8t or a Romeo 4xt pro a chance.

Thanks for responding, for some reason I never got a notification. Ended up going with the xps3. Figured I'd give a holo a chance.
