I've got an old Enfield rifle that I'm not 100% sure of the age. I got it from my grandfather and it has 1917 on it, but I dont know if that the year of manufacture or not.
Remington?
Yep and functional. Dad's friend dug it up while digging fish bait (worms) years ago. Dad made the stock.
Springfield 1896 30-40 Krag
I believe those were only made from 1917-1918, by Winchester, Remington, and Eddystone (a subsidiary of Remington).
