Is that a K31? I'd like to know exactly how old mine is. How were you able to date it?

The 1911 carbine was the fore-runner of the K31. It was a shortened version of the model 1911 which had a 31" (!) barrel.

You can look up your serial numbers of all the different models on this site:

Savage 1907 pistol, although mine dates to 1909-10.

Very cool little pistols... the original 'pocket pistol' with a 10 round double-stack magazine in 32 ACP. Well made and very collectible but still available at very reasonable prices.

The big-brother (45 ACP version) of this pistol was the runner-up to the 1911 in the military trials after the Luger pulled out.

Got a Winchester rifle from December 1976 but it was new when I got it. It was such a life changing event I still remember the serial number. I have a couple of 22 revolvers from the 70’s because nothing better has been made since. I am all functionality, If a better gun is built that is what I use. I have a 1911 but it was built in the 2000’s.
