Check out the Undercover Flex. I have it on my Tundra and LOVE it. It meets all of your criteria. Its a hardcover tri-fold. Got it installed at Truck Specialties in Cartersville.

I have had a flat top cover. Now I have a Leer Camper Shell which I like more.

If I need to carry oversized items,I have a utility trailer

That's what I'm leaning towards, but my other half is all "What if we have to carry something tall?" I'm telling her we just pop off the cover when necessary.

Overall it's good, my top comes off easy but is heavy duty so a bit awkward.

My priorities are:

1. Security
2. Water/dust protection
3. Looks
4. Cost

May carry something above the rails four or five times a year. Need a place to secure coats, tools, luggage, a walker. My service dogs crate takes up 60 percent of the floor in the back of my supercrew, 5.5 short bed.

How water tight? Is a little drops by the tailgate corners ok?

In for info. Traded trucks and kept my undercover flex but I never loved it. It was never completely dry either. Pretty dry but not bone dry.

I keep a carpet liner and I am looking for something completely waterproof that is easy and quick to remove

I would appreciate recommendations

I have a undercover locking hard cover on my f250. I'm going to sell it soon though. As far as covers go I guess it is ok. I'm just not a cover guy. I prefer an open bed.
