There is an internet phenomenon that only Wimmen and chirrens can kill deer with a .243 and such. I have proven this a falsification many times. These internet guys must have small “pistols” and need a “man’s” Deer Rifle to kill these red clay monsters in Jawja. Here are 2 little kid guns I will kill deers with this year with only gasp…. 85gr bullets.

Try 100 gr coreloc I’ve been using 243 for over 30 years. Never had to chase a deer

I used a .243 for muleys and antelope in Wyoming back in the 90s. Did fine. 100 gr Winchester softpoints. Still got two .243s.

I actually like using firearms with short stocks made as and for youth rifles as well. Light and compact is the way I roll.

Any centerfire round will kill a deer and so will a rimfire for that matter.
