RDS vs Irons

I quit putting RDS on carry guns for the simple reason I got tired of clearing the lens of lint, dead skin, deodorant, etc every time I pulled the thing out of the holster.

I spent a lot of time getting good with my support hand.

So I carry in my left mitt at all times. It commands a great deal of respect

I don't run a RDS on a pistol, either. I played with it back in the day when STI released their HOST guns. The angle of the grip change was something I never could get used to. Maybe I didn't want to, maybe I didnt practice enough. But the natural point of the gun was not the same. I'm that old dog who refuses to try and learn a new trick. I don't doubt their viability, but I don't see myself at a disadvantage by not having one. I may be wrong; I'm wrong a lot. A good one wont fail, and even if it did, whatever is in the center of the window is what you are going to hit. Maybe someone will change my mind...
