I got a friend that bought a Prius about 8 or ten years ago and never had a single repair and can't get under 50 mpg no matter how hard he drives it

A friend of mine had one in high school. He got it to replace his 70s Plymouth Volare. I'd take the Volare..

And do you know why the Yugos had rear defrosters? It was to keep your hands warm while you pushed it.

No. Not even close. The Yogo made crappy 80's 'Merican cars look like, like, crappy '90's German cars.

Ill conceived promo at a local Caddy dealer "Buy a Cadillac, get a YUGO FREE!" I think it Huckabee Buick/Cadillac downtown. I remember the commercials.

Saw one cross the auction block out by Newnan one Saturday for $250 and it drove in. Loved the "swerved to miss a baby duck!"

Yugo made it over here in 87 and was done by about 91. It was basically a Yugoslavian ripoff of a Fiat. It was a $4000.00 new car so a lot of food went for it. My old Festivas look pretty good by comparison huh?

That was funny as hell! I remember the commercials always had them priced at $3,990. I don't recall ever actually seeing one in person though.

Those things made the Pinto look like a luxury car. My dad used to say they were called Yugos and not Wegos because they're such pieces of **** that they'll break if occupied by more than one person.
