Rimfire 22lr match

Just bought a bench rest 22lr and looking to get a quality scope to see out to 50 to 150 yards. Any recommendations would prefer the duplex reticle. Having a 20x would be nice to have just for future.

Are you shooting for group, score, or steel challenge as this will be a consideration. For group/ score you will need a very fine reticle and the duplex is favored. However for getting out in the 150 yard space you may need additional MOA base especially if you are dialing dope. I shoot several of the ABRA matches and use 6x26 with a duplex reticle but only shoot at 50 yds. I never go above 16x when shooting but do use the added power for sighters etc.

Implied benchrest. Sightron s3 series are supposed to be very good for the f/br folks. You want a fixed or variable mag?

Used Weaver T36 if you find one
Sightron 36x
And use the money you save on good ammo

Leupold competetion are nice and I think the newer 45x have resolved the issues with the older 36x and 24x br models.
