If you need a tube extension for one Choate Machine and Tool still carries them . That's where I got the 2 round extension for mine. And they come with a barrel/mag tube clamp that has a sling stud on the side.

1000P is essentially the same as 3000. Both 1000 and 3000 were made by Howa in Japan.
I see that the mag extensions are the same, will all parts swap between the two?

That’s good info. It’s getting harder to find parts for those guns. I may have to break down and buy an 870.

I don't think so. It's as if Smith hored Howa of Japan and told them to make an 870 but just enough different to A) not get sued and B) aggravate the hell out of the owners.

I think it's about the best upgrade for the money you could do to that grip, fun getting it on there as well! Tight fit is an understatement!
