Seafoam?

The name of the dealership is familiar. I think there's at least one other horror story about them on here.

They did me right when I bought my truck. I bought a truck from them and after I got it home I realized I had purchased the wrong engine. I went back the next day knowing full well that they were under no obligation to help me fix my mistake. They undid the deal and found me a truck that not only fit the criteria that I was looking for, but was a much better deal. I have been more than happy with my experience from ALM.

Seafoam is good stuff but not that good. If it is still running I would run it for a hour or so and change the oil again then drive it some to see if the motor is making any death rattles,if not drive it until it dies.

If there are metal filings in the oil, the oil pump strainer is probably restricted. The oil pan would need to be removed and cleaned out also.
