It's not a pistol, and never was.
It's just a firearm,
(Although one day ATF may call them Destructive Devices).

Kinda take the advantage of having a compact shotgun away wouldn't it?
Not to mention quite ugly.

What about just a plain handguard?

Oh the strap is there to remind you not to sweep the barrel easy to push it forward and your hand slip off and then pull the trigger... not pretty.

Yeah, I kinda want to keep my left hand. Was considering something that might screw in place of the strap. The mag pull grip seems a bit bulky.

I haven't handled one yet so I really don't know what to suggest, I've always kinda liked the strap myself.

Its not bad but its not great either. Something different id have to get use to. Never had a gun I had to use a strap. May or may not confine the hand in an odd situation.
