Well that's what I thought. They're OK, I don't know that I'd picked a different weapon at the time. That said, I do prefer a metal gun though.....

At least I carry a round chambered in the Glock. I'd venture to say most carrying a 1911, it aint ready for a gun fight
My 1911 is always condition 1. Skeers non-gun folks that see it.

Man, the butthurt 1911 folks are out in force. So, can you guys just go to counseling and tell the therapist where the Glock touched you and get over it already?
You guys are worse than AK lovers: "My commie peasant gun is better than your AR15! And I'll prove it, just as soon as I can figure out how to insert another magazine in mag well!"
Except ya'll are all: "My 1911 is better than your tupperware gun! And I'll prove it just as soon as I can get it to shoot a full mag without jamming. It's SUPPOSED to jam the first 500; it's 'shooting itself in'! That's what you HAVE to do with a $1,000 gun! And next week I'll polish the feed ramp some more, I'm sure I can get it to cycle hollow points!"
Just give it a rest, shoot what you want to shoot, and let other people shoot what they want to shoot.
