First Shots Through Ruger LCP Max

Brand new LCP Max with a 13lb Wolff recoil spring and 3 different types of ammo at a distance of 7 yards.

Standard FMJ was pleasant to shoot and cycled well - No issues

Hornady 90 grain critical defense was quite snappy - No issues

Underwood 68 grain +P Xtreme Defense was snappy about the same as the Hornady 90 grain - No issues

I am a decent shot, but I won't be winning any bullseye competition shooting the LCP Max.

Overall, I now feel fairly confident with using it as CCW.
It is Not a pleasure to shoot with the hotter loads.

I found FMJ ammo is acceptable for range and am using the Max for pocket carry with Federal HST 99 gr… I think the Max is a lot easier to shoot and doesn’t wear me out like my M&P Bodyguard did…

Id lov to get one for the capacity. Ive just never found a nicer pocket carry as my lcp. Even with the 7rd mag.
