I may go that route if they won't even look at it for me. The money is not even the issue. $1,600 for a gun is not the end of world (I can always make more money), it's the failure of the system and the look on my niece's face that pisses me off. Doubt that it was an OOB. I've seen another another scorpion bolt carrier split right down the middle.

Could have been that exactly, I know that bolt is toast. The carrier is likely okay, the barrel is not bulged or damaged in any way. There's no obstruction in it for certain.

Worth a try, but doubt that they care. Hell, look how many people on this forumn still buy, and will defend to the death, the quality of Taurus and BCA. Even if ODT completely turns on sig, it wouldn't be a blip on their radar.
