Sig or Kimber?????????

I am in the market for a 1911. I want to buy one new to keep. I shoot a lot so I want a quality gun. I have been wanting a Kimber raptor pro and finally have the means to buy one but my local gun store doesn't have one in stock. They did order a few a few months ago but who knows when they will come in. With that said they do have a stainless Sig 1911 govt size in stock and it is about 300 less than the raptor will be. I am torn. What do y'all think???

Well the SIG has an external extractor. The kimbers are OK but for that kind of money look at a Springfield loaded. Awesome tight tough 1911. Or a trp

The loaded is under a grand the trp is around 1300

Sig, but not in stainless, I don't like stainless guns. But with the Sig, it's wise than a regular 1911 so finding a holster may be difficult.

alot of people I have talked to say the Springfield feels cheap compared to the Kimber but that is just hearsay. I don't know personally. I may have to check into that.
