alot of people I have talked to say the Springfield feels cheap compared to the Kimber but that is just hearsay. I don't know personally. I may have to check into that.

I've handled both I own a kimber stainlessII. My dad has a SA loaded. I would trade my kimber for a nm serial loaded any day of the week brother.

I had 2 kimbers and 1 sig c3.

Both brands were quality. Didnt have any issues out of either. Would own either again.

I had the Pro Raptor 2 and it was the smoothest 1911 I have ever shot! Damn fine weapon!! Kimber gets my vote.

I have had 2 Kimbers both great. But both where Tach IIs one was 5" and one was 4" still have the 4" for carry and regret trading the 5". A les Baer 1.5" replaced it and is the best 1911 I own but Kimber was still a good 1911.

Had the Sig Tach opt carry. good battle type gun but not as good as either of the kimbers for the range and general shooting. My not 1911 sigs are great

Unless its an older Kimber would go with Sig

I would say SIG. But If I had my choice, it would be either Colt or Springfield.

I see you're in Gainesville. Trigger Time in Braselton has this model of Kimber in stock right now if I'm not mistaken.
