Plus 1 for Akins Ford. Great experience. Did negotiation over the phone as I drove over, they had the truck ready, I test drove it, traded/signed...left about an hour later. Always ask for items you want to add during neg.. such as liner spray, weather tech mats, etc..

Why does the salesman have to walk all the way across the showroom to tell the 'sales manager' I want a White/Gold paint on the truck I'm buying. He's got a phone on his desk

Best part about Akins was all the vehicles they had in stock and being able to see dealer + Ford incentives online before negotiating. Heck, their online (pre-negotiated) price was better than the prices I was getting after phone negotiations from 3 other dealers.

One of their salesmen said they kept about 2000 vehicles in stock. I believe it. When I did an inventory search online with the color I wanted and most of the options I was interested in, it pulled up 16 trucks!

Bought a new truck a few months back from Sons Chrevy in Columbus, it was a smooth and pleasant expierence. Went in with a list of trucks I saw on the net to look thru they had a large selection online and on lot and like old school said above the pricing was broken down by incentives, discounts, etc... online and am enjoying my new truck very much.

Akins currently has 460 F150`s to choose from. When I went to the local dealer, he had 20trucks, he couldn't get closer than $3k to akin`s advertised price. He said no way your getting that truck at that price.
I drive by that dealership and remember his rude statement of "that's a long way to drive just to save some money" $3,500 saved to drive 100miles...yea
