Slide fire fun, and the cops getting called!

Has anyone else ever had an experience like that with slide fire and police?

You're right down the road from me, both in precinct 2. I had no idea there was Cobb hunting land around here, and bordering the city of ATL? What's the chances of actually being permitted to shoot or hunt there?
No permission needed to bow hunt but you have to get written permission from someone at The Parks and Recreation to shoot fire
arms.. get the app onxhunt itll show all approved hunting land

Were you on your land, Cobb County land, or someone elses land? Im also pretty sure you dont need written permission to hunt on a Cobb WMA but first lets figure out where you were.
Stated above i was on a cobb wma and I had called the DNR to see if I could sight a new rifle optic on the land before I went hunting for coyote and beaver.

And Adventure Outdoors
Lol I remember bringing in a select fire Beretta 92 clone (9mmpak blank) after I dumped the first two mags I had an employee asking to see my tax stamp and weapon. I was like I don't have one just ordered this baby online last week and it arrived at my door today. The look on his face was priceless, for the few seconds i let it linger before i added that it was just a blank gun/movie prop lol.

So you were doing mag dumps on a WMA that is zoned archery only?
I called the DNR and told them that it was zoned for archery only for deer and specifically asked if I could hunt with a rifle for varmint like coyote and beaver which they responded with a direct yes that's just for deer you can shoot coyotes with whatever caliber you want, that's why I asked her permission to sight in my rifle and do some target practice in that same zoned area to which they also responded yes that won't be a problem. It's become a learning experience for me.
