My first was a '75 Mustang II, 4 banger with a 4 speed trans. Before that, I got to cruse in mom's '69 Caddie (some strange reason, the motor mounts kept breaking...)

For sure. All three were found parked in someone’s yard with something wrong with them but that made em cheap enough that I could afford to get them and fix them up

66 Ford Fairlane GT, dark blue , with 390 and 4 speed! I was 15 years old and my father bought it for me . I had $200.00 saved from working and worked 25 hours a week after school to finish paying for car . Wish I still had it !

1970 F100 custom, 302, three on the tree, 260 air conditioning (2 windows down 60 mph), am radio. My Dad installed an 8 track one year and I put a cb radio in it when that was a thing. I'm glad that truck can't talk...and if it can, it lies!

Loved that bench seat. Had several good rides on it!

68 Chevy van I bought at 13 years old. My best friend, older than me, helped me get it running. As long as I kept it on the dirt roads I was fine to drive it around.

292 (?) Inline 6 engine between the seats under a hatch. Odd place for an engine.

I had a Dodge like this. Single tone blue with bigger tires. It somehow got a nickname, something like fire truck. I cant remember, seems like it rhymed more. It was a beast.
