Isn't this the same bill King George tried to pass in the 1770's, time for me to join a Militia

Isn't this how the first uncivil war started? When the fed gov started trying to tell states what they could and could not do outside the confines of the Constitution? It also seems like the same battle lines are being drawn, something around the Mason-Dixon line...

Sorta but not really

The civil war was started really around property rights of the individuals which just happens to have centered around slavery

Ergo the federal gov didnt like that you were able to own other people but never really offered an off ramp as for how owners could recoup the differential to the increase in costs. This was a 40 year bout of stupidity and half ass compromises that eventually hit a boiling point because they didnt address the issue head on.... think the coming medicare or social secuirty bomb the government keeps playing jenga with is more akin to the slavery issue.

This in Texas is pretty simple... the supreme court hasnt decided anything yet... all they said was the federal gov had the right to remove the razor wire on federal land

This is the executive branch breaching the contract between the states

This probably ends with the powers of the border being removed from executive oversight
