This is why I'm very hesitant about the Sig P320 models.

It's hard to tell for sure cause the angle is different but it does look like the pistol was higher in the holster before it went off (top still) and lower in it after it went off when he bumped into the other officer standing up after grabbing the guy's legs.

Even if those speculations are correct, there is zero excuse for a duty weapon discharging in those circumstances.
 
What is different about the SIG P320 is that there seem to be multiple documented events reference "discharging in holster" - it is not just one reported event there are multiple, separate incidents
 
Funny, if these guns are so prone to “firing themselves” and everyone is talking about the supposed frequency of the events, why do the rare videos get so much attention and those videos are shared thousands of times?

Seems as there are cameras everywhere these days, especially around anything LE, there would be hundreds of videos at least???

Im not buying it, seems like we used to get that a lot with glocks back in the day. All the rumors and stories anyway ,we didn’t have the proliferation of cameras then. Now we espouse them as the best, and most reliable?
