That's all a dope smokin felon should be allowed to have...I'm just sayin.
As much as we all complain about restrictions, every single one of us has "bent over and grabbed our ankles" and submitted to obtain our carry license.
All this talk about the 2nd amendment being absolute and yet we all conform to the law and regulations. Where's the conviction in your beliefs? Why not stand up to the man and carry without a license?
Amazing, isn't it. And he took an oath at one time.![]()
Privilege vs right
You are saying you have the right to drive a car or fly a plane?

The words if, and, or but do not follow "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” There is a period though.
Rights that can be regulated, can be regulated away. They must be inalienable or they cease to be rights and become mere privileges bestowed by the government, or taken away at any whim.
The Second Amendment IS the law. Nothing more needed.

Driving a car is a privilege and not a right.

I hate this, I really hate this! I agree with you. Its not a personal thing against FrogMan I just hate that having to agree with someone that training is not the worst idea ever and would not be a bad requirement to carry concealed. Now the bar thing who really gives a rip. As far as I am concerned if you can't handle your booze and you act an ass you loose your rights. Just like DUI or anything else. You know how people skirt the law now? Look all over the news at shootings at nightclubs almost everytime they go out to the car and then the shooting begins and people who don't deserve it get shoot outside instead of in. Its probably better left as it is as laws are too-a-plenty now but who knows......I agree with almost all of what you said with the exception of these two
1. Mandatory training; i would support mandatory safety training way to many folks are not up to speed on this.
2. Bar carry; nope guns have no place around the consumption of alcohol.
is my sarcasm guage out-of-order?because someone smokes(d) marijuana and could have one of many nonviolent offenses that lead to a criminal record they should lose the right to protect themselves? that's rational and i cant see why anyone would find that insane
