Im looking for a light & quiet can for a hunting bolt gun primarily.

Rugged Micro 30? I use an old SIG titanium 762 for hunting and love it. I’m sure there’s still some out there.

For my hunting rifle (450 Bushmaster) I have a SilencerCo Hybrid 46 and love it. Very quite, built like a tank and can handle very high pressure loads in a pleather of different calibers 308, 45-70, 357, 10mm, 44mag etc. MSRP is 1k+ but street price is around $750. I believe I paid around 750-800 delivered to my SOT.

Here it is on my rifle from a Cumberland Island Hog hunt last week. Incredibly quite using the 395 grain 450BM Hornady Subsonic. Just as quiet as a suppressed 9mm, but 3X the energy. Couldn't be happier with it.

Thunderbeast ultra 7 or 9 or magnus
Otter creek hydrogen
CGS hyperion
Dead air Nomad L-Ti

If weight is of greatest concern the tbac ultras are 1.5 inch diameter cans and stupid light. If highest suppression is the goal, the magnus is a 1.6-1.7 can like the hydrogen, hyperion and nomad. All still under a pound with mount and all quiet within spitting distance of each other in suppression.

Anyone have experience with a Nomad TI?

Love mine. Works well on bolt and gas guns and is the quietest can I own.
