I’ve got a polo k on one HD rifle and a Sierra 5 (4k rounds and unexploded lol) on mine. I use SBRs for HD and value short compact cans. It totally use a sandman S, but the compactness of the other 2 work out better for THAT use case. I use my sandman S on a PRS rifle I beat up.
If for 5.56 only, my vote goes to YHM turbo. But that's based on what was available a couple years ago, there may be something better today. The fat cat looks pretty sweet, short as hell, which is what I care most about in HD.
Looks like I need more than one!!
Better you learn this lesson now than a hybrid 46 “do it all can” later lol.
I have to say, that Ghost M I just got is pretty damn good as a "Do It All" can - although it maxes out at 45.
Edit: but not as good as purpose-selected caliber specific cans. While I can use that Ghost on a 22, the Mask HD is better. I can use the Ghost on one of my 9mms, but the Odessa works better (although I have a bit of buyers remorse on the Odessa).
I can shoot 30 cal thru the Ghost and it's nearly as good as the Sandman for 'light duty'.

Anyone have experience with a Nomad TI?
do they have a soupresser for poors? Just a tater?
Assuming it doesn't grenade on you, the nomad is a solid can that is quiet. Gonna be gassy on a semi though
Im looking for a light & quiet can for a hunting bolt gun primarily.
